Founded by Gianluigi Marangoni in 1978, Gimax has been a pioneer in innovative machinery for handling both ferrous and non-ferrous wire. In the 1980s, we introduced the "POLI" series semi-automatic respoolers, still in use today. The 1990s brought the groundbreaking "ROBO" series, the most reliable and cost-effective fully automatic respooler on the market. In the 2000s, our "INF" series drum packers set new standards for compactness, efficiency, and speed, while the "REV" series redefined fully automatic respooling. By the 2010s, our product range expanded to include drawing equipment and updated shaving processes for aluminum wire. Now, in the 2020s, with a focus on innovation and efficiency, Gimax leads the industry with a comprehensive approach from conception to testing. Today, after 46 years, Gimax is the global leader in wire respooling and handling, with over 3200 machines sold worldwide.
